Back to School September 2020 info & survey

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

We hope you have been keeping well this summer and have had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather. Finding the silver lining in an otherwise challenging time is important.

Please take the time to read carefully the Letter to WCDSB School Re-Opening July 31st 20. It is of critical importance that you complete the survey (link below) to indicate your intentions for your child(ren). Your response is directly connected to the specific plans being developed to provide a safe return for all St. Vincent de Paul students and staff.

Please continue to check your email for information via NewsWire, your voicemail for information via School Messenger, and the school website for up to date information.

Finally, if you know of a family who are planning to register at St. Vincent de Paul for September 2020 please encourage them to do so immediately. Online registration is open and can be accessed on our school website. It is critical that new students be registered PRIOR to September to ensure adequate staffing, and safety measures, are in place for the first day of school.

We look forward to welcoming our students back on September 8th. It has been a very long absence and your children are truly missed by the staff at St. Vincent de Paul.

Continued blessings…

Ms. Erin Lemak and Mr. Richard Resendes

July 28, 2020 – Message from Superintendent of Learning

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we prepare for our return to school in September we are recommending that if your child is medically fragile, immune compromised or has chronic or persistent health conditions that you speak with your health care provider(s) to determine what mode of delivery is most appropriate for your child and what, if any, accommodations for your child’s health needs might be required.

Whether your child’s return to school is conventional or adapted, it is important that your child’s health care provider(s) is consulted to ensure your child’s physical health needs are considered as we plan for a return to school during the COVID Pandemic.
