St. Vincent de Paul Return to School Operationl Guidelines

At this beautiful summer is drawing to a close, it is time for us to begin our transition back to school. After 6 long months away from each other, we are excited for the opportunity to gather again at school. We know things will be very different this September, and this leads to many questions and concerns. Please know our first priority remains the health and well-being of all our St. Vincent de Paul students and staff.

Attached is a letter that outlines the guidelines for St. Vincent de Paul CES. These guidelines are compliant with the WCDSB Operational Guidelines which can be found on the Waterloo Catholic District School Board website. There is a great amount of detail included in both these documents. Please take time to read carefully as the answers to many questions are held here.

There will be more communication from both the WCDSB and St. Vincent de Paul CES in the days ahead. Please continue to check your email as well as the board and school websites.

Please also make sure that you are set up on school Cash Online. First day procedures, your child(ren)’s classroom teacher and other important information will be sent out on Friday, Sept 4, 2020.

Aug. 5, 2020 ~ September Re-Opening Survey – Due August 10th

Dear Tiger Families,

We hope that you enjoyed a restful long weekend. Last Friday on July 31st, we sent out a message from our Director of Education regarding the re-opening of schools in September on Newswire. In this message, there was a survey for parents to complete for each child in the family.

The Board requires that ALL students indicate their intentions for the fall – we need to know for EACH student whether they will be returning to school in the fall for face to face learning.  There are also questions related to extended day and to technology needs. Please ensure you have read the comprehensive communication in advance so that you can make an informed decision in the survey. The Board requires that every student responds so please complete the survey as soon as possible.  The survey closes on Monday, August 10th.

Here is the survey link once again:

Thank you for your assistance!
