A few reminders for this week:

Progress Reports:

Progress reports will be going home on Tuesday, November 5. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 7. Please ensure you have completed and sent in your Parent-Teacher Conferences form. Your Parent-Teacher Conference time will be sent home with your child(ren)’s Progress Report.

Halloween is fast approaching and is a fun and memorable time of year for families and our students. Please check with your child’s teacher before sending any Halloween treats to school. We also ask that you be extra careful in checking labels and avoid sending any Halloween treats to school that contain peanuts, nut products or tree nut products. Please also refrain from sending in any baked goods for your child’s classroom at any time of the school year.

Students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to school. Please note the following:

  • Costumes cannot promote violence or have accessories or props that could be used as weapons
  • Masks are not permitted
  • No scary costumes please – we do not want to scare anyone

At this time of year, we invite you to reflect on your child’s progress at school. This is also a reminder to take a look at the top right hand corner of this report at the number of absences and lates that your child has.

We know that children who attend school on a regular basis are more successful in many areas of their lives. Regular attendance at school increases opportunities for growth. We encourage you and your child to stay on the path to success because Attendance Matters. Please be in touch with us if you need support in improving your child’s attendance.
