Dear Tiger Families,
As you are aware, a province-wide stay-at-home order was issued today by our provincial government. This order does not affect our schools and as such, we will continue to remain open this week. However, in the event that we do need to pivot to online learning after the April break (April 12-16), we will begin to make preparations by sending home your child’s personal belongings (e.g. shoes, water bottles, clothes, etc.) and some learning materials over the next two days just as we did prior to the Christmas break.
If you requested a school chromebook to use during remote learning in January, we will once again prepare one for your child and send it with them this Friday. If your technology needs have changed, please email your child’s teacher or call the office by the end of the day tomorrow Thursday, April 8th, so that we can have it ready for your child to take home on Friday.
Please note that we are just sending this material home this week out of an abundance of caution so that we are ready to respond to online learning in the event a new direction is announced by Public Health during our April Break. We know these are very difficult and challenging times and we truly do appreciate your support.
Take good care and we will continue to share information and keep you up to date!
